RECREATION

What can I do at Tūhaitara?

Tūhaitara Coastal Park provides a diverse range of recreation settings, from walking, cycling and bridle trails, to formal picnic and event settings, through to semi wilderness natural sites, all with easy access to some of the most pristine beaches of the Northern Pegasus Bay.

To discuss holding an event or booking a picnic site at Woodend Beach Domain, contact the Trust office.

Dogs

Dogs are permitted in the Park and must be under control at all times. Dogs are not permitted within the Tūtaepatu Lagoon or Te Kohanga Wetlands except on the main trails and they must be on a lead. Always pick up and take your dogs poo.

Drones

A permit is required to operate a remotely piloted aircraft system or Drone within or over Tūhaitara Coastal Park. Contact the park office for more information tkot.enquiries@farmside.co.nz
